About Harold Wood
Complete beginners often assume that grammar rules are the only path toward fluency. In reality, mastering a language requires consistent vocabulary building and dedicated listening practice to truly hear the rhythm of speech. Developing clear pronunciation and using everyday phrases creates a bridge to genuine communication.
Over the course of 13 years, I have taught hundreds of students ranging from novices to those refining their AP Spanish. My MA in Applied Linguistics from Boston College informs my precise approach. I genuinely enjoy sharing the vibrant linguistic textures of Madrid with my students.

Fresh coffee scents fill the room as we begin our first hour together exploring regional dialects and cultural nuances. We integrate music and film to ensure you hear the Spanish spoken in a Havana market rather than just textbook abstractions.
This immersive method helps bridge the gap between classroom theory and real life. Homework modules provide detailed feedback after every class so you can track your progress accurately. These sessions utilize my academic training to sharpen your grammar while keeping the conversation light. Are you ready to see how language reflects the world?
