About Mahir As-Sami
I’m Mahir, a final year civil engineering student. I have a strong grasp on math, physics, chemistry, and English for all years 6-12 allowing me to focus on finding the best way to teach concepts to students tailored to their needs. I have been tutoring for 7+ years so I’ve got a knack for what works and doesn’t. I enjoy playing sports and connecting with people in my spare time. I believe a good lesson is one that the student also enjoys while learning.

I’m Mahir, I’m a penultimate-year Civil Engineering student at Curtin University with 7+ years of tutoring experience. I’m opening up availability for holiday tutoring and continued support into next year and further.
Over the years, I’ve helped students lift their grades, improve confidence, and become more independent learners. My approach focuses on identifying gaps early,and reinforcing learning through guided practice and tailoring my lessons to meet the student’s needs as every student learns differently.
I’m known for being reliable, organised, and approachable. I’ve got many references and reviews to show upon request.
I’m available for both online and in-person tutoring, including intensive holiday sessions for revision or preparation ahead of the new school year
