About Gia
I’m a voice tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus in voice. My passion lies in vocal storytelling—bringing songs to life through nuance, character, and heart. I specialize in Jazz Standards, Broadway solos, and Golden Age repertoire, where phrasing and feeling matter just as much as pitch. My lessons explore swing rhythm, jazz ornamentation, and expressive timing to help singers find their own voice within classic styles. We work on interpreting lyrics with emotional clarity and developing stage presence that draws the audience in. I also help students read lead sheets with confidence, making quick musical decisions feel natural. I’ve had the joy of working with passionate adults, seasoned community singers, and theater actors looking to refine their vocal style. Every student arrives with a story, and my job is to help them tell it with honesty and flair. Lessons are always a blend of technical work and interpretive play. My teaching approach to singing is rooted in building a strong and healthy vocal foundation.
