About Becky
I would be glad to give you parents’ names as references. I love teaching and love preparing for a student’s individual needs—especially when it comes to reading, grammar, spelling, and writing. It would be great to speak to you in person. When teaching a student who is dyslexic, I use an Orton-Gillingham based instruction called Barton Reading & Spelling System, Inc. It is SO useful and works Very well. If you like, I would be glad to show you this instruction and give your child a free screening (show if Barton would be appropriate for your child or not). I teach in-person only.

I taught in a Christian academy, and when they closed I began tutoring for twenty-one years. I love it and would love to talk with you to see if I may help. For dyslexic students, I use an Orton-Gillingham based instruction called Barton Reading and Spelling and it is highly effective (“bartonreading.com”). God bless! I teach in-person only.
