About Amit
Started my fitness journey at the age of 33, with the Mixed Martial Art form "Muay Thai".
After 1.5 years of practicing "Muay Thai"; one day, I got the chance to join a yoga class, and I just felt amazing after the class, and my Yoga practice journey started. After 2 years of yoga practice, I went to Yog Nagri Rishikesh to complete my 200 hours of teachers training course, and here I am today to guide you to start your Yoga and spiritual journey.

1. Yoga asana practice's thumb rule is "Sthira Sukham Asanam" (steady, comfortable pose is asana) offered by Maharshi Patanjali; because asana is not just a pose, asana is a state, state of the body and the mind. So I truly believe in that and work with the students in the same way; increase the level gradually, not of a sudden.
2. Basic structure of the class will be like - Centering, warmup, sun salutations, preparation of peak, peak, counter poses, upside down asanas, twists, relaxation (Mostly Shavasana)
3. I am a very calm teacher and understand every level of learning, so I help students to increase their yoga practice gradually; because it's an ongoing process, not a quick shortcut.
4. Anyone can start Yoga at any age (not less than 5 years of age), in fact, I would say everyone should practice yoga in their routine life, it should be a part of everyone's life.
