About Belinda
My name is Belinda, and I would like to share the joy of movement with you. I hold a belief that movement is medicine, and that yoga is one way of experiencing this type of medicine. My classes are a combination of breath work, self-awareness, connecting to spirit, and a relaxed approach to movement. We do what we can, based on where we are that day, that moment. The sheer joy of seeing people move more than they did before, or seeing a shift take place inside them, as they try an asana, and feel the benefits or the change internally brings a feeling of grace to me. It is privilege to share knowledge.

During my classes, we warm up and then move into what we need to work on. I encourage the students to push their boundaries and deepen their Asana. Take yourself beyond what you already know. A few rounds of belly breathing to send energy around the body, followed by a prayer of gratitude followed by a few rounds of Suria Namaskar. I ask the students what they would like to work on, and then based on those requests, a class follows. I teach both styles comfortably. The traditional style, following the Sivananda sequence strictly, or switching it up and bringing the element of play.
