I believe in an approach to yoga that emphasizes self-care, as well as presenting challenges to aid in growth and recovery. Every class and sequence of postures is individually tailored to meet the needs of each student and is completely flexible in regards to difficulty and intensity. My class offerings range from a full-body vinyasa cardio workout, to a practice of stillness and reflection, and everything in between.
I have been teaching yoga for 2 years. I am a concert cellist and an expert skier. A stroke in 2013 brought me to re-evaluate and improve the relationship and balance of my body, mind, and spirit. Yoga has been an absolutely indispensable part of my recovery and has allowed me to not only regain my abilities but to go far beyond what I previously thought was possible.
