About Tom

Hello, my name is Tom, and I’ve been teaching yoga for over five years, both online and in person. My journey with yoga began as a personal search for balance and clarity, and over time it became something I felt deeply called to share with others.

I received my professional yoga training in India, where I studied traditional yoga practices and philosophy. This experience gave me a strong foundation in classical yoga styles including Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yin. Since then, I’ve continued to explore how yoga can support not only physical wellbeing but also emotional and mental balance.

Alongside my yoga training, I’ve spent time in Latin America learning about shamanic traditions and practices. These experiences helped broaden my perspective on healing, self-awareness, and the relationship between body, mind, and nature. As a result, my teaching blends the grounded structure of traditional yoga with a more reflective and intuitive approach that encourages students to connect more deeply with themselves.

Students often describe my classes as calm, supportive, and thoughtful. My aim is to create a space where people feel comfortable exploring their practice at their own pace, without pressure or judgement.

For me, yoga is not only about flexibility or physical strength. It is a way to slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with what really matters. I enjoy helping students experience that deeper side of the practice and discover how yoga can support them in their everyday lives.

My yoga classes are designed to help students slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience the deeper emotional and mental benefits of yoga, not just the physical ones.

I have over 5 years of experience teaching Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin yoga, both online and in person, working with students of different levels and backgrounds. My classes are accessible for beginners while still offering depth for more experienced practitioners.

I received my professional yoga training in India, where I studied traditional yogic philosophy and practice. This foundation continues to guide the way I teach today. In addition to my yoga training, I have spent time in Latin America learning about shamanic practices and traditions. These experiences have influenced my approach, and my classes gently blend the grounded structure of traditional yoga with a more intuitive, reflective dimension that encourages self-awareness and emotional connection.

In my classes, we focus not only on posture and movement, but also on breath, presence, and the internal experience of the practice. The intention is to create a space where students can release tension, quiet the mind, and build a deeper relationship with themselves.

Sessions may include a combination of flowing sequences, slower restorative work, breath practices, and moments of stillness or reflection. Each class is adapted to the needs and experience of the student or group.

Whether you are completely new to yoga or looking to deepen an existing practice, my aim is to offer a supportive environment where you can explore yoga as a tool for balance, clarity, and wellbeing.
