About Jennifer

I'm Jen, a New York City-based yoga instructor with over 750 hours of training across Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Hatha, Yoga Nidra, and Pre/Postnatal yoga. I've been teaching private clients and groups across Manhattan and Brooklyn for years, and my approach is rooted in the philosophy that yoga is a practice for your whole life, not just your mat.

Before I became a full-time instructor, I built a career in Big 4 consulting and adtech finance. I know what it means to operate under sustained pressure, to move fast, and to disconnect from your body in the process. That experience didn't leave me when I transitioned to teaching. It's why I work especially well with high-achieving, busy New Yorkers who are looking for something slower, something that actually restores them.

My classes are not about peak poses or pushing limits. They're about awareness, breath, and building a relationship with your own nervous system. I hold space that is warm, non-judgmental, and grounded, whether you're a complete beginner or someone returning to practice after a long time away.

I currently teach a regular Yin and Yoga Nidra class at Baby Cobra Yoga in the East Village, and I work with private clients throughout the city. I also design and facilitate corporate wellness programs for teams who want more than a one-off event.

About the lesson

I'm Jen, an E-RYT 750+ certified yoga instructor based in New York City, specializing in Yin, Vinyasa, Restorative, Hatha, and Yoga Nidra. I teach private sessions and small groups across Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Before yoga became my full-time practice, I spent years in Big 4 consulting and adtech finance. That background shapes how I teach: methodically, with intention, and with a clear understanding of what stress and burnout actually feel like. My students aren't looking for a performance. They're looking for a practice that meets them where they are.

What I offer:

One-on-one private sessions tailored to your goals, injuries, or experience level
Yin yoga and Yoga Nidra for nervous system restoration and deep rest
Pre/postnatal yoga for all stages of pregnancy and postpartum recovery
Restorative and Hatha for students rebuilding after injury or high-stress periods
Corporate wellness sessions for teams and organizations
Sessions are available in-home, at your building's amenity space, or at a studio near you. I work with complete beginners and seasoned practitioners alike.
