About Richard
Long before I learned about God and self-evident truths, I learned that two sides of a right angle, multiplied by itself, always equals the third side squared called the hypotenuse. I found math incremental knowledge that builds on itself so one can discover things by logic that one could never ever dream of. F.U.N. is an acronym for "failing until now." On the onset I want to know why the student wants a tutor. Then I want to know their history with the subject and why they find it difficult. Most children, or adults for that matter, have never learned to enjoy learning. Working with special education children for example , I learned that it is important to set a goal that is reachable but still a stretch. I want to program them for success and help them have success.
