About Andrew
Hello!
My name is Andrew and I am a sophomore trombonist in the music program at UNCW! I am offering my skills to help develop the talents and abilities of other trombonists in the Wilmington area.
I have lots of performance experience, with my most notable involvements including my role as lead trombone of UNC Greensboro's Jazz Ensemble II and my time performing professionally with the Greensboro Big Band. In high school, I was an All-State musician and achieved notable awards such as the USMC Semper Fidelis Musical Excellence Award and the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award.
I am very proud to be able to say that I am an endorsed B.A.N.D artist with XO Brass, and I was able to secure a spot on their team thanks to my skills as an educator and performer. I have been giving lessons for the last 3 years and I have taught formally at various high school summer band camps as a brass technician.

I am a classical and jazz trombonist with 9 years of experience performing and auditioning who is offering lessons in the downtown Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach area.
I focus heavily on fundamentals and techniques, as the trombone is a very technical instrument, and aim to help students apply their skills directly to playing passionately.
I guarantee that your child will see results in their playing within just their first lesson!
