Practical learning using music: Using J-POP lyrics as teaching materials, we intuitively teach living vocabulary, expressions, and the rhythm of language (natural intonation) that are not found in textbooks. Support from the perspective of a language learner: As I myself am studying English, Korean, French, Italian, etc., I understand the difficulties and joys of learning a new language. I will never criticize students even if they make mistakes, and I will create a relaxed environment where they can speak. 1. Warm-up (5-10 minutes): Everyday conversation. We lightly share music that you have listened to recently, your hobbies, and what happened today to ease any tension. 2. Main lesson (30-40 minutes): Music-based course: We analyze the lyrics of the student's favorite song (or a recommended song) together, and explain the grammar and hidden nuances. Free talk course: Practice conversations about fashion, culture, and trends in a friendly atmosphere. I will teach "words that are actually used in Japan right now," as a current high school student. 3. Feedback (5 minutes): Review new vocabulary and more natural expressions that came up during the lesson by summarizing them in chat. Share the real "now" of Japan: You can directly teach youth slang not found in textbooks, the latest trend culture, and the realities of student life. Target Level: Intermediate to Advanced (Those who can read hiragana and katakana to those who want to improve their everyday conversation skills) ・Those who love Japanese music and pop culture ・Those who want to learn casual and natural Japanese like they would talk with friends, rather than stiff, textbook-style Japanese ・Those who want to practice speaking at their own pace in a fun, pressure-free atmosphere -------------------------------------------------- Teaching Methods & Techniques Practical Learning Through Music: I use J-POP lyrics as study materials to teach authentic vocabulary, expressions, and the natural rhythm or intonation of Japanese that you won't find in textbooks. Support from a Fellow Language Learner: As someone currently studying English, Korean, French, and Italian, I deeply understand both the challenges and joys of learning a new language. I create a relaxed environment where you never have to worry about making mistakes. Typical Lesson Structure (45–60 mins) Warm-up (5–10 mins): Casual check-in to ease tension. We can share recent music recommendations, hobbies, or events from our day. Main Lesson (30–40 mins): Learn with Music Option: We analyze the lyrics of your favorite songs (or my recommendations) to unpack grammar, subtle nuances, and word choice. Free Talk Option: Natural conversations about fashion, culture, and current trends. As a high school student, I can teach you the real Japanese used by native speakers today. Feedback (5 mins): I will summarize new vocabulary and more natural phrasings in the chat for you to review after class. Unique Strengths Sharing Authentic Culture: I offer a firsthand look at current youth culture, school life, and real-time trends that traditional textbooks miss. Target Students (Level & Preferences) Target Level: Intermediate to Advanced (Best for those who can read Hiragana/Katakana and want to improve everyday conversation skills). Ideal for learners who: Love Japanese music and pop culture. Want to learn casual, Japanese natural rather than, rigid textbook-style phrasing. Prefer practicing in a fun, pressure-free environment at their own pace.
