About Kinsley
Coming from a background of 7 years on Wall Street and consulting, I have seen plenty of broken code. I spent 8 years in management consulting and the finance sector refining my technical edge. My experience includes teaching 76 students how to navigate complex programming environments.
I leverage my Bachelor of Science in Statistics to simplify logic for all my learners. You will work with JavaScript, Java, Python, SQL, and C++ during our time together. We also cover version control and clean code practices to ensure you work like a pro.
Problem solving on coding platforms is central to my methodology. I enjoy seeing my students tackle difficult bugs in real time.

Why should learning a new language feel like a chore when it can be an engaging puzzle? Can you imagine solving a complex database issue with the same ease you apply to a simple math problem? Coding is really about structured thinking and efficient design.
My approach is rooted in my 8 years of consulting where clean code was a non-negotiable requirement. Before we start, you must complete a diagnostic coding assessment so I can gauge your current proficiency level. This allows me to build a path that challenges you without causing unnecessary frustration.
I incorporate my statistics degree to help you understand performance complexity and data structures. It is helpful to treat every error as a learning opportunity rather than a failure. The best part of my work is watching a student finally debug a system that seemed impossible. You will find that writing elegant, efficient code is actually quite fun.
