About Terri
"Music connects people. I teach to share that.
My focus remains on rhythmic precision and clear intonation. I help students grasp shifting positions and left hand agility.
Classical repertoire is my specialty. I guide beginners through posture and hold while advancing others in vibrato and orchestral playing.
Ear training remains a core priority for my pupils. ABRSM and Trinity grade exam prep provides a clear path for development. I have taught 111 individuals during my career. What are your specific goals for your violin playing?"

Have you ever wondered why your bow hold feels so rigid during a difficult passage? A typical session begins with a diagnostic assessment to identify physical tensions or technical gaps before we structure a 9.0 rated practice plan for your week. Because of my BMus Violin Performance background, I demonstrate how specific movements influence your tone production while ensuring that our time together remains calm and focused. My role is to bridge the gap between where you currently stand and where your musical ambition intends to take you.
