About Olen
"Teaching provides the framework to pass on technical precision. I hold an Artist Diploma in Violin Performance from the New England Conservatory. My 7 years of instruction allow me to meet pupils where they stand.
I focus on spiccato and staccato bowing, left hand agility, double stops, tuning by ear, intonation, sight reading, and ear training. I enjoy the process of refinement.
Working with nervous beginners and advanced candidates defines my daily routine. I insist on clear results through disciplined practice habits. I am a dedicated musician."
