About Aaron
High schoolers aiming for conservatory auditions represent the core of my current teaching roster. These dedicated musicians work alongside me as I split time between the Los Angeles Philharmonic and my home studio in Nashville. I have guided students ranging from 4-year-old beginners to advanced teenagers over 6 years of instruction.
Methodical habits define my approach to the instrument. My teaching remains centered on curious exploration of the repertoire. Music is my life.

Since feedback requires precise timing, I observe your technique before interrupting your flow. My background as an orchestral violinist from the Curtis Institute of Music informs how I prioritize double stops and vibrato.
Achieving mastery requires consistent attention to detail. Sight reading and ear training form the foundation of our work together.
We will navigate your grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity assessments. My 8.0 rating reflects a deep commitment to technical clarity. Perhaps we can start there.
