About Cherly
Posture and hand position serve as the foundation for everything I teach. I bring 10 years of experience to every session.
My goal is to refine your technique while teaching sight reading and complex chord voicing. You will master music theory and sight playing through consistent practice.
Scales and arpeggios build the dexterity required for advanced hand independence. I focus on memorization techniques and the art of jazz improvisation.
Dynamics and expression breathe life into your playing. I have taught 82 students how to play with confidence. You can expect a patient and upbeat atmosphere while we explore your musical interests. My teaching method emphasizes steady growth through practice.

Hands rest on the keys as we start a custom arrangement for a song you picked yourself. Berklee trained production insights help us analyze the structure of your favorite tracks. We work through the score together until the rhythm and melody feel natural under your fingers. These sessions provide a space for teens and intermediate students to refine their technical skills.
Bringing a song to life remains the most satisfying part of our time together. Playing music should feel rewarding.
