About Marylyn
Music exists to be shared rather than hoarded behind academic walls. I teach because watching a student bridge the gap from silent strings to a full performance remains my primary motivation. My 3 years of experience allow me to distill complex concepts into manageable steps.
Studying at the Curtis Institute of Music shaped my discipline. I utilize this background to build technique while keeping the joy of playing at the center of our work. My own journey with the guitar started in childhood and continues to evolve through constant practice. I value the quiet focus of my students who arrive ready to work.
