About Julissa
I used to volunteer at Centro de Acceso Universitario by tutoring high school and college students from low economic resources in STEM subjects. Also, I tutor my friends if they are having problems understanding a subject. I gain a lot of satisfaction in helping students improve their skills and achieve the grade they maybe thought was not possible.

My goal is to grow as a tutor in helping students understand and improve their skills in the subjects of Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1&2, and Chemistry. I am a college student who has passed these classes with an A, and I want my students to know that with dedication it can happen to them too. I try to explain the best I can and even look for other resources so the student understands the subject even better.
