About Lupe
Teaching is rarely about simply transferring facts; it is about helping students work through the frustration that often comes with complex systems. After spending years in the industry, I decided to mentor students and discovered how much the experience has also helped me refine and strengthen my own perspective.
Having taught 89 students, I have seen how quickly topics like capital budgeting and portfolio theory can become overwhelming without a clear and logical framework. I focus on breaking down complicated financial concepts into practical steps that make them easier to understand and apply.
Financial markets are influenced by countless factors, and there is always more to discover beneath the surface. My goal is to help you build a strong foundation, develop structured analytical thinking, and gain the confidence to explore increasingly complex financial concepts.

A blank Excel spreadsheet can feel intimidating before the first calculation even begins. With 12 years of experience, I break down concepts such as bonds and equities, risk and return, and financial analysis into clear, manageable steps that are easier to understand and apply.
Past-paper walkthroughs are a key part of my teaching approach. We work through realistic questions together, focusing on concepts such as cost of capital while connecting the theory to practical financial decisions. This helps you develop a deeper understanding rather than simply memorizing formulas.
My goal is to help you build a strong foundation as a disciplined analyst. Whether you are strengthening your fundamentals or preparing for challenging assessments, I provide structured guidance designed to improve both your technical skills and confidence.
