About Laura
Completing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and an Insight Data Science Fellowship provided the technical foundation for my 13 years of industry experience. I use this background to make complex technical concepts clear and practical.
My expertise covers HTML, CSS, C++, data structures, coding platforms, and complex debugging techniques. I focus on helping students understand how these skills work together to build clean, efficient, and reliable code.
Watching a student finally solve a difficult problem after persistent practice is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching. I tailor lessons to your goals and provide the guidance and practice needed to build confidence as a programmer.

Building small and functional programs from the start makes learning programming fun and accessible for students aged 10 to 14. Projects provide a clear path toward understanding logic while maintaining focus on runnable code.
Complexity increases slowly to ensure every concept sticks before moving to the next challenge. My approach relies on 13 years of teaching 454 students to keep the material direct and industry relevant. Building software projects is my specialty and I look forward to helping you start your coding journey.
