About Helena
Coding represents a constant puzzle that I have spent 7 years solving within Bay Area startups. Teaching these concepts for 5 years allows me to assist students ranging from total novices to career changers entering the data field. My work covers HTML, CSS, data structures, Python, SQL, Java, and debugging.
I also provide interview preparation for complex technical roles. I know how to navigate the shift into a professional software environment effectively.

Progress trackers start on day 1 because software development relies on persistent version control. A GitHub repository is set up for every student to manage their codebase and review history.
This approach mimics real world team environments immediately. We utilize my BS Physics background to break down complex logic into manageable segments.
Technical fluency in Python and database management becomes the primary focus of our work together. Skills like JavaScript and DSA are integrated as you grow comfortable with the syntax. Expect a logical, evidence based method of instruction that focuses on clear results. I want you to feel the same satisfaction I get when a difficult program finally runs without errors.
