About Tessa
"Music theory, songwriting, ear training, chord transitions, and scales and modes are the foundations I rely on to guide my instruction. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Melbourne and spent 13 years performing in the Australian Latin music scene. These 11 years of experience have helped me support many self-taught adults and intermediate players who are feeling stuck. My approach is friendly and patient while being deeply rooted in the practical realities of the industry.
Sometimes I think about how much clearer things were when I first picked up the instrument. I am here to help you bridge those gaps in your technique. It is a slow process that requires steady hands and a clear mind. I just want to keep the music moving forward."
