About Erich
Strumming patterns, scales, modes, tuning, maintenance, reading tabs, songwriting, and power chords represent the technical tools I offer students. Performing in Austin keeps my own playing sharp while I guide beginners and intermediates toward recording their first EP. My degree from the University of Southern California supports my method of turning casual guitarists into confident performers. We focus on getting you ready to play that song at a party or finally capturing your sound in a studio.

"Honestly, I often start by checking what music you are currently listening to. My 12 years of experience show that simple adjustments make the biggest difference for your progress.
8.0 is the specific tempo we might use as a reference point for your rhythm. You will receive custom backing tracks so you can practice your soloing at home.
This allows you to experiment with your sound in a low pressure environment. You get to hear exactly how your lead lines sit in the mix. I find this approach makes the biggest impact on your confidence. Music should be fun and productive at the same time."
