About Yvette
Graduating with a BMus Jazz Guitar from the University of North Texas changed how I view patterns. Music is mostly logic disguised as art, and I have spent 3 years showing students how to decode those shapes. I have guided 100 students through ear training and theory so far. Does the fretboard still feel like a random grid to you?

Clean, overdriven tones hum through the amp as we map out complex blues progressions. You will hear how fingerpicking patterns translate into lead guitar solos that actually make sense.
My approach is 10.0 times more effective because I skip the scripted fluff. We might spend the entire hour on one specific chord voicing if the music demands it.
Expect an honest breakdown of your mechanics. I prioritize actual musicality over rigid structure. If something better arises during our 60 minute block, we pivot immediately. Flexibility is the core of how I teach.
