Guadalajara is where I started, and playing Latin guitar for 13 years in Australia has shaped how I view the fretboard today. Sometimes I find myself explaining complex blues theory while realizing it is actually just about feeling the groove correctly.
My teaching practice draws on 13 years of experience to help absolute beginners and teens find their footing. I enjoy working with self-taught players who need more structure to move beyond simple chords. Songwriting is a huge part of my process as it keeps the music feeling fresh and alive. Performance-focused students often come to me to refine their electric technique or acoustic rhythm work.
Reading sheet music becomes much easier once you understand the underlying patterns. I look forward to hearing about the specific goals you have for your own musical development.
