About Eavan

English and languages are my passion and I want to share that with you! I'm CELTA qualified and have taught English in Spain, The Netherlands, Ireland, and online. As your teacher, I'm here to guide you on the rewarding journey to speaking English fluently and with confidence. I've taught adults from all around the world from every background imaginable and always make sure learning is enjoyable, effective, and fits your goals. I speak Spanish fluently and have learned French and Irish, so I understand what learning a language involves. Communicating in English opens up a whole world of amazing experiences, so let me help you reach that goal and have a good time doing it! I have been told I'm friendly and approachable by students and our classes will always be open, supportive and fun spaces to work on communicating effectively in "the real world". About the lesson

-Listening practice - Conversation practice - Work on grammar as needed - Building on language to communicate with fluency and confidence. Depending on your needs, all lessons will focus on conversation with natural language acquisition, listening, and grammar taught in a fun way. In the first free trial lesson, I will evaluate what we need and want to work on and will plan lessons on interesting themes to get you to where you want to be in your English so classes will be as enjoyable and productive as possible. Perfect! I’m so happy that I found Eavan! She’s such a great and fun teacher, she provided excellent materials to study and she understands what I need to make my English sound better and more formal (that is what I was looking for). She has great attention to details of when I speak and corrects me straight away, I can say her patience and empathy has been helping me a lot with confidence throughout the classes. Eavan prepared for the CAE exam in 2015. She was very knowledgeable about the exam and was able to give me lots of tips to get the best mark possible. I am a teacher in Madrid and it was important that I passed this exam and with Eavan’s help, I did first time. She is a great teacher.
