About Joseph
Holding a BFA Music Industry degree from Belmont University, I spent my 13 years of experience refining a method that puts voice at the center. It feels a bit like a mix of music theory and grit, honestly. I focus on blues progressions, barre chords, and lead guitar while keeping things light.

Admittedly, I usually suggest we start with your own songs rather than dry exercises. We bridge the gap between guitar and singing so you play exactly how you perform. My 13 years of experience ensure we cover power chords and strumming patterns without losing the thread of the music.
Each student gets a practice module after every session to keep momentum high. Grade exam candidates appreciate this extra structure during the week. Working through music theory this way makes the heavy lifting feel surprisingly light. Playing music should feel like a reward at the end of the day.
