About Victoria
Rhythmic patterns are the heartbeat of every musical journey we undertake in this space. Guitar lessons with me are grounded in the belief that music should be a cultural exploration rather than just a set of mechanical exercises. Because I hold a Diploma of Music, I emphasize proper technique to ensure you play safely for the rest of your life.
We spend our time balancing serious theory with the fun of applying new power chords to the songs you actually want to hear. My 7 years of experience have taught me how to adjust the pace so that each concept feels achievable. Since I value your progress, I offer a free trial session to assess your starting level before we commit to a plan. Expect our sessions to be filled with movement, focus, and a steady drive toward better musicianship.

Walking into my studio usually involves the sound of a resonant acoustic guitar echoing against the walls while I tune strings to a specific rhythmic cadence. Having dedicated 7 years to teaching 174 students, I find that my Diploma of Music from JMC Academy provides the technical framework for the musical traditions I adore. My approach balances complex music theory and ear training with the raw energy of blues progressions and electric technique.
Students often find that my method of integrating strumming patterns and barre chords helps them gain confidence quickly. Whether you are a teen navigating your first guitar or an intermediate learner preparing for grade exams, I am here to help you grow. I have built my career by blending the structure of formal education with the spontaneous nature of flamenco and bolero. There is a genuine joy in watching a student finally master a difficult fingerpicking section after weeks of persistent practice.
My teaching remains firmly rooted in the rhythms I grew up with while ensuring every technical skill is addressed with precision. I hope to help you find your unique voice on the instrument during our time together.
