About Lois
Precision matters when training the voice. I admit that I sometimes obsess over the smallest technical details during warm-ups.
My training at Berklee College of Music focused on BMus Vocal Performance with a piano minor. This path allows me to bridge the gap between singing and self-accompaniment.
I help students handle stage fear through practical microphone technique and sight singing. My approach prioritizes vocal health above all else as a foundation for growth. Singing sessions start with specific physical alignment. I model every technique at the piano so you hear exactly what good habits sound like. We spend time on sight singing exercises to build your internal ear. Then we transition to repertoire where we apply vibrato control and microphone techniques.
Managing stage fear becomes a standard part of our work together. These methods align with the rigorous standards of my BMus training. We take the time to refine your sound. It is a slow and steady process.
