About Hanna

I am a recent graduate from the University of Warwick where I studied French with Theatre Studies and am on track to graduate with a First class degree next month. I have been learning French from the age of ten and have lived and worked in many Francophone countries including France, Belgium and Switzerland. I am a C1 level French and can especially help with grammar and writing needs. I have tutored French before to my friend's sister to help her through her first year of A levels and she found it very helpful. I am used to working with children as young as 4 and I am also a frequent babysitter in my area which demonstrates my friendly and warm nature. I am excited to start teaching and helping your children! I also have vast experience in French culture and history - I have studied history and literary modules at University and have frequently achieved firsts in my essays. I would also be able to help with culture French tutoring if it is required. Some of the topics I am particularly familiar with are: Vichy France, Charles de Gaulle, Left/Right political movements and parties.

About the lesson

I base my classes on looking at verb tables, constructing sentences and vocab worksheets in order to improve vocabulary and help the students to look over work at home before/after the session. I also like to do oral comprehension where the student can practise their accent and pronunciation.
