About Joel
My name's Joél, a current medical student at St. George's University. I'm a strong lover of the science subjects and also keen on teaching others. In the past I have spent a summer doing tutoring work at Tess Academy, with children aiming for 11+ examinations. This helped me gain lots of experience in teaching techniques, engagement and elasticity in teaching new methods and finding different ways to convey new principles.
I like for lessons to be both entertaining and informative, as I know i certainly best learnt this way. Therefore I like to include games and structured breaks as well as tests and homework to make sure students get engaged with the teaching but are also improving and honing their skills and knowledge.
I'm looking forward to teaching once again and hopefully again aiding people in getting the results they're looking for!
