About Isabel
I am a soprano and graduate of Royal Holloway, University of London, where I gained a first class honours degree in History and Music. I have extensive performing experience, both as a soloist and choral singer, and am a member of the 2021-22 cohort of Genesis Sixteen. I am currently a teacher for Hampshire Music Service, delivering tuition in Singing, Violin and whole class Strings to children aged between 7 and 16 years old. However, I am comfortable and competent teaching all ages and levels of experience. I have some experience of classroom teaching and a full and enhanced DBS check. I am friendly, approachable, a good listener, and will tailor my approach to your needs.

My teaching approach depends on the individual needs of a particular student, and is adaptable to each student. A typical lesson would begin with a thorough warm up to promote healthy vocal production and a grounding in technique. Throughout the lesson I would work with students on their technique while integrating a variety of repertoire, according to your tastes and needs, to nurture a long-lasting love of (healthy!) singing.

Concession for self-funded people in full-time education: £30/hr. Please note that cancellation of a lesson with less than 48 hours’ notice, unless in exceptional circumstances, will incur the full cost of the missed lesson.
