About Daniel

I love teaching people. I have done it all my life, from early high school to now as a team leader and project manager. If someone asks me a question I'll always take the time to answer it and make sure they're confident in their understanding. If I don't know an answer, I'll do my best to find it for you.

I ran private tutoring in my class during my own apprenticeship, helping many of my classmates prepare for our general unit and Capstone exams. I am proud to say that they all passed their exams on the first attempt and I'd like to think I had a hand in that.

I may not be a qualified teacher, but I excel at my job and want you all to do the same.

I believe that because I have walked the path you are walking now, just a few years ago, it makes me uniquely suited to give you that extra helping hand to reach your goals in the industry.

I take your time and your success seriously. Although I like to cultivate a relaxed environment where we can be mates and use everyday language, I am here to get you the results you're after.
I want you to leave every session a little more confident.

About the lesson

- Catering the session to your style of learning
One thing I always hear from my fellow colleagues in the industry is that they often had teachers who couldn't explain things in a way they could understand. I always endeavour to cater my tutoring to how you learn.

- Extensive experience tutoring fellow apprentices and electricians.
Although I don't have a formal qualification for teaching. I am a fully qualified Electrician with extensive experience in Domestic, Industrial, Commercial and Telecommunications. I have been fortunate to have a physics background before I became an electrician. This gives me the unique skills to take academic jargon and translate it into language us electricians use in our day-to-day lives.

- Lesson lengths usually range from 30 minutes to 2hrs. Depending on what our focus is. There are times when we'll need to knuckle down and smash out some content and other times when we'll just be clarifying and brushing up on things. I try to offer flexible session lengths to suit your lifestyle and learning style. I appreciate that being an on-the-job learner means that you aren't always going to want to or be able to slog out an hour plus of study.

- My lessons are best suited to apprentices who are looking for that extra bit of time and another perspective to help get them through this stage of their career.
