About Aurélien
I finished my studies in 2020 in the field of data science. I am the co-founder of a mobile game (Plant The World), from which part of the income will be used to plant trees. While waiting for the progress of the project, I need some money, which explains my presence here! I love giving courses; I have helped other students for many years and the experiences have always been positive.

I am intended for advanced students. I am particularly suitable for:
- 1st year EPFL courses, in particular Analysis, Linear Algebra and Programming
- Mathematics (+ physics math option) or gymnasium computer science.
I don't have a methodology set in stone. It depends on the student's goals. For a given topic, I make sure all definitions and concepts are clear. Then, I think practice is the most effective method. I let the student solve exercises and think by himself, intervening as little as possible. I think it is essential to perform exercises without help, in order to understand what one master and what not. I will pay special attention to the thought process and methodology for solving a given problem.
I prefer teaching in person, especially maths, since it is more efficient to write formulas. But given the circumstances, I am open to giving remote lessons if I think that the course will be efficient.
