About Ehan
Music has been part of my life since I was around 3 years old, and piano in particular has stayed a genuine passion rather than something I did purely for exams. I'm currently studying towards my A-Levels in China, and teaching piano is something I've wanted to do for a while — I enjoy the process of watching someone go from struggling with a piece to actually playing it comfortably.
I'm patient and adapt my teaching to how each student learns best — some want clear structure and grade progression, others just want to enjoy playing without pressure. Either way, I focus on making lessons genuinely useful and something students look forward to, not just another commitment.

I achieved TCL (Trinity College London) Grade 8 with Distinction at age 13, and have continued playing and developing my technique since. My approach focuses on building solid fundamentals first — posture, hand position, and sight-reading — before layering in musicality and expression, so students develop technique that actually holds up rather than just learning pieces by ear.
Lessons typically run 40 minutes and are suited to complete beginners through to intermediate players working towards grade exams, as well as anyone who wants to play for enjoyment rather than exams specifically. I tailor the pace and focus depending on whether a student wants structured progression or a more relaxed, exploratory approach. Lessons are aimed at novice piano players, wanting to progress through the Trinity College London grade system, from the age of 7 upwards.
