About Melissa
I am a friendly, honest and understanding tutor who is aware of how hard young students can find learning. For this mindset to not stay with them i help deliver a sense of commitment to students so they are ready in the future when they start high school. I am able to relate to students not understanding something or being shy to ask for help and I understand the impact this can have in their learning. I am also aware of how students learn in different ways and not just by looking at teachers do things on boards. On having these experiences I will be able to create educational and exciting lessons for students age 4-11 to learn.

I teach according to the students learning types. For visual learners I use boards and share screen for online tutoring. However for audio learners I will use mostly sound and for kinaesthetic I will help them understand it by relating it to doing things. Most lessons will be between 45 minutes to 1 hour. Shorter or longer depending on the students agreements. I use to help tutor people I know however although I’m studying myself I am sure I will be able to tutor a widespread of people from across the globe.
