About Andrew
I'm an IT consultant with a strong academic background (I have A's in Maths, English Language, English Literature, Double Science and Science at GCSE level).
I took Economics, Maths and Psychology at A level and studied computer science at Aston University, Birmingham.
In my spare time I play football, watch anime and I'm also a film director/filmmaker.
I have been a private tutor for the last 3 or so years, supporting students with exam preparation (including GCSE exam prep). However, in addition to this, I use my own experience from my school days and my professional career to build confidence, independence and help shape students into the next bright minds of the future.

I tailor my lessons to individual students strengths and weaknesses, and aim to provide lessons which not only help students learn, but also empower them to approach and dissect problems independently.
A typical lesson plan for a student would be to discuss the topic at hand at a high level, outlining key principles and key things to take note of. I then walk through a question with a student, working together to approach and dissect it, before asking the student to tackle other questions using the principles and approach outlined by me.
