About Alina

Hi, I’m Alina – a native German speaker originally from Germany, currently living in San Francisco.

I studied International Business and spent time working in the FMCG industry, so I know how useful (and sometimes intimidating!) it can be to communicate confidently in a foreign language. That’s exactly why I teach the way I do – relaxed, real, and always focused on what actually helps you in everyday life.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me surfing, exploring SF’s food scene, or planning my next trip. I bring that same curious, laid-back energy to my lessons – because learning a language should feel like a conversation, not a chore.

I’d love to help you find your German voice.

About the lesson

Whether you’re just starting out with “Hallo” or already holding conversations but want to sound more natural – I’ve got you.

My lessons focus on real, everyday German: the kind you actually use when talking to people, watching shows, or navigating life in a German-speaking country. No dry grammar drills – we’ll practice through conversation, real-life situations, and topics that actually interest you.

As a native speaker from Germany, I’ll help you sound less like a textbook and more like a local. Lessons are relaxed, flexible, and tailored to what YOU need.
