About Tracie
I've been a licensed teacher in WI, SC, and AZ. I've also taught in New Zealand and China. My experiences have led me to develop approaches that work for each person. I rarely use the same strategy over and over. Your lessons will be tailored to you.

Feeling like your reading skills could use some improvement? Have a child in your life who could benefit from better reading? I can help! As an educator (general education and special education) for over 30 years, I have all kinds of tips, tricks, and strategies to share. I can work with any age and any ability. The only thing you need is willingness.
Reading is a broad topic. I can help in:
* comprehension
* fluency
* prosody
* vocabulary development
* phonics
* sight words
* business reading/writing
* spelling
Why me? I have proven success in improving reading skills in all my students. I focus on you as a reader, not what everyone else is doing. My lessons are tailored to your interests and ability, and on your time frame. We will work together in short bursts and stop when you are tired or uninterested. We'll pick it up back up later. I will never push you too hard, but I will push you just past your comfort zone so your brain engages and makes room for new information.
If you're ever not happy with my approach, that's okay. But I'm betting you will be.
