In the many years of my professional singing career, I have watched many vocal performers weaken vocally and unable to deliver under pressure through inadequate vocal technique and lack of confidence. It is for this reason that "Your the Voice Singing Academy" endeavors to develop a solid foundation in vocal performance by developing solid vocal technique. I started "Your the Voice Singing Academy" to share my skills, performance experience and vocal knowledge with aspiring professional singers. I have a Bachelor of Music from the Australian Guild of Music and a Diploma in Business Management.I began singing at the tender age of 7 under the watchful eye of Bob Tasmin-Smith, who was world renowned in the music industry for singing and teaching some of Australia's greatest talents, such as Julie Anthony, Delta Goodrem and Christine Anu. whereby I have been trained in vocal technique, musicianship, history, teaching, music technology, orchestra and performance. I have also had many years of experience working in clubs, floor-shows, television appearances and professional studio recordings.

About the lesson

After a successful television appearance on "New Faces" in 1992, a request from Bert Newton gave me the opportunity to appear and perform on "Good Morning Australia" in 1993 and then again in 1994. In 2009, I appeared on "Australia's Got Talent" where the judges passed me through to the next round, crediting me as an experienced and accomplished performer. This experience gave me the opportunity to master the art in dealing successfully with the pressure of media and interviews. My objective as a singing teacher is to give back the knowledge and experience I have fortunately gained through-out my career as a professional singer. I am confident in my ability to impart this knowledge in an encouraging manner to passionate aspiring singers. With many years of experience in singing, piano playing and teaching, I have been given the opportunity to perform with some great singer/musicians. I have achieved a successful career in the music industry and understand what it takes to deliver a solid vocal performance. I am passionate in teaching my aspiring singers the skill of singing with solid vocal technique and confidence.

I have an amazing ability to acknowledge any talent and expand on that talent. This is done through constructive advice, quality vocal training and performance. My aim is paying great attention to vocal exercises and songs for pitch, range, dynamics,vocal projection and overall vocal technique. I teach different age groups starting at age five through to adult. Skill Level: Beginners to Advanced singers. Lessons take place in an encouraging environment that enables students to remain focused ,relaxed determined and motivated, whilst learning the craft.
