About Robert
Over the past five years, my focus has been on youth education—specifically tutoring and mentoring K–12 students.
I began my work with the St. Margaret’s Center Literacy Program, where I taught English and math
to children from low-income families.
For the past three years, I have worked with Study Smart Tutors and Thrive Academics, teaching K–12 students at Hillcrest Drive Elementary and Woodcrest Elementary in math and English language arts.

My approach as a tutor is centered on building confidence, curiosity, and independent problem-solving skills.
I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to match each student's learning pace, strengths, and interests.
Rather than simply providing answers, I guide students through the thought process by asking questions, encouraging critical thinking, and breaking complex concepts into manageable steps.
I combine a data-driven, results-oriented approach with a strong
commitment to student growth and achievement.
