About Stacey
They say a pictures worth a thousand words I'd
say more like a million!
I have been into photography as long as I can remember. I never left home without my camera always ready to capture a moment that if not captured, would soon pass me by. I take pictures in every genre from a broke down barn to the yellowist of daisies. Then I began to freelance as a photographer for celebrations such as birthdays, weddings and the newest thing, gender reveals.
As far as an actual carreer, I have been lucky enough to take photos for the St. Louis Cardinals official website! Which was an absolute dream I never wanted to wake up from.
I have also been privledged enough to help document a wide variety of important occasions having worked at Olan Mills. Allowing families to have their cherished memories come to life for many years to come.

With editing as an option there are pros and cons. One could make or break the portrait. A photo tells a story so editing portraits, or not to edit is sometimes a slippery slope, which makes editing a very important concept to grasp. Something as simple as a pimple, for example, can make a difference. Lifes awkward moments of our teenage years might need that blemish to help with the story as opposed to a beautiful bride being a nervous wreck on her wedding day, distraught over the imperfection on her perfect day. I will teach and show you the ins and outs of photography and as a bonus I will teach the basics on editing. Unfortunately I'm unable to teach the when's and wheres , but I'll be able to give you guidance on the how's and why's .
