About elliot
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 5 years of experience and a BA in Chemistry. I enjoy helping students explore polymer chemistry and materials synthesis in a clear and practical way. My teaching focuses on understanding polymerization mechanisms, material properties, and the real-world applications of plastics, rubbers, and composites. I guide students to see how the molecular structure of materials influences their macroscopic behavior.

My teaching approach is relaxed, interactive, and focused on making chemistry practical and relevant. I emphasize understanding concepts rather than rote memorization. I specialize in analytical chemistry, spectroscopy (NMR, IR, UV-Vis), chromatography, and quantitative analysis techniques. Lessons are designed to connect theory with real laboratory applications. I guide students in using instrumental analysis effectively, helping them see how chemistry works in practice.
I also support students in organic, inorganic, and bio-chemistry topics as they relate to experiments. For geneticists and microbiologists, I focus on lab techniques and experimental design, making sure they understand each step clearly. I encourage questions and discussions to clarify doubts. I provide strategies for exam preparation and completing assignments with confidence. Real-life examples and demonstrations are often part of my sessions.
