About Abhishek
I fell in love with math as a young child, and I started teaching it at 16. Since then I have spent 8+ years teaching math to school students and competitive-exam aspirants. Nothing makes me happier than the moment a student says, "Oh, now I get it!"
My own journey with math took me to NIT for Engineering and FMS Delhi for my MBA. Along the way I scored 99.99 percentile in CAT Math and 99.95 percentile overall in SNAP. My students have gone on to achieve AIR-6 in CLAT and 100 percentile in CAT sections as well as full scores on GRE.
I also spent 10 years as a product manager at fintech companies in the UAE, Egypt, Indonesia and India, working with data, probability and numbers every day. That experience showed me how much math matters outside the classroom, and it helps me answer the classic question: "Where will I ever use this?"
In product, I learned to find the root cause of a problem before trying to fix it. I brought that thinking into teaching and built a personal math knowledge graph that pinpoints exactly where each student's understanding breaks down.

Most students don't struggle with a chapter. They struggle with one missing building block underneath it. For 8+ years I have taught K-12 and competitive-exam maths, and my students have gone on to score AIR-6 in CLAT and 100 percentile in CAT sections. I scored 99.99 percentile in CAT Maths and 99.95 percentile overall in SNAP, and I studied at NIT (Engineering) and FMS Delhi (MBA).
STEP 1: FIND THE GAPS WITH A PERSONAL MATHS KNOWLEDGE GRAPH
I have built a knowledge graph that maps how maths concepts depend on each other. For example, fractions depend on division, ratios depend on fractions, and percentages, algebra and probability build on ratios. When a student makes a mistake, I trace it back through this map to the exact concept that is missing, instead of repeating the same topic again and again.
- A diagnostic in the first class shows which concepts are strong, which are shaky and which are missing
- Every student gets a personal map of their maths understanding
- We fix the root gaps first, so later topics become easier
- The map is updated as you progress, so you and your parents can see what has improved
STEP 2: BUILD REAL UNDERSTANDING WITH CPA (CONCRETE – PICTORIAL – ABSTRACT)
Every concept is taught in three stages:
- Concrete: real objects and everyday situations you can touch and relate to
- Pictorial: diagrams, bar models and number lines that show what is happening
- Abstract: only then do we move to symbols, formulas and shortcuts
This way you know why a formula works, not just how to use it.
STEP 3: GO FROM REMEMBERING TO CREATING WITH BLOOM'S TAXONOMY
I take every topic up through each level of Bloom's taxonomy:
Remember → Understand → Apply → Analyse → Evaluate → Create
We don't stop at solving textbook questions. You learn to analyse tricky problems, judge which method is best, and finally create your own new problems. When you can build a problem yourself, you truly understand the maths, and no exam question can surprise you.
