About Zhiying

I am a fully qualified teacher with extensive experience teaching A-Level Mathematics, further maths and Physics in mainstream secondary schools. Over the past 10+ years, I have taught the full A-Level syllabus—including Core Mathematics, Pure, Mechanics, Statistics, and Further Pure Mathematics and Further Mechanics—within formal school settings, giving me deep insight into curriculum requirements, examination standards, and the specific challenges students face in tackling exam questions.

I was slightly apprehensive about using a tutor recommended on line and did not know what to expect in terms of the quality of the tutorials. However, after 4 one hour sessions I can say that I am extremley pleased with the service provided by Zhiying. During the first session she identified my son's learning needs and set objectives for him to meet and is currently working towards these. . I would definitely recommend Zhiying as a maths tutor. She is an effective teacher and a patient person.
