About Emily
Currently I am studying the Diploma of Acting at WAAPA and am giving ATAR drama tutoring lessons. I graduated high school in 2018 as the Top student in my year for ATAR Drama, and had great fun throughout the year studying ATAR drama. I belive that good results, especially in a subject like Theatre, are not wholly seperate from personal enjoyment and growth.
After taking a gap year to try figure out what I wanted to study (+ just enjoy life) I decided to audition for WAAPA. I love theatre and think that it is an amazing craft that is not only fun but genuinely builds life long skills and develops introspection of the human experience.
I take attention to the individual and will try to figure out what works best for you and invest in student by student results.

Hi! my name is Emily and I am offering Drama lessons to ATAR students, primary school students or really anyone with a passion for acting and/or perhaps just a desire to build confidence and interpersonal skills.
I will cater my tutoring style toward you, and can happily work with you on practical or written tasks. I do belive however in the idea of just getting up and playing, and will ask that you challenge yourself in order to expand and get the most out of a performance.
I will encourage bringing class work to me that we can break down and analyse it, but all tutoring will be guided assistance only. I am happy to read a play that you are studying if required, and have done ATAR analysis - either in literature or Drama - on Othello, Streetcar, Hoods, August Osage County, Twelfth Night and M. Butterfly but am familiar with a variety of texts, so feel free to just ask.
