About Dream

Hi! I'm Dream, and I'm a first-year Medical Student with a background in Health Sciences. I have extensive experience reading essays, and my students have gone on to achieve top marks in top programs. I've also held multiple research internships in various fields. I'm a Dean's List student with several academic certificates, scholarships, and awards. As an experienced tutor specializing in reading comprehension, writing, and English, I am dedicated to helping middle school and high school students unlock their full potential. With years of hands-on teaching, I’ve worked with students from diverse backgrounds and learning levels, guiding them to become more confident and proficient in their skills. My lessons are tailored to meet each student’s unique needs, blending proven teaching techniques with a personalized approach. The goal is to find what works for you. I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop a lifelong appreciation for learning.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centered, focusing on each learner’s needs and pace. I use a mix of direct instruction, guided practice, and independent work to reinforce learning. For reading comprehension, I emphasize active reading strategies like annotating, questioning, and summarizing, encouraging students to engage deeply with texts. For writing, I break down the writing process—brainstorming, drafting, revising, and editing—so students develop strong writing habits over time. I also incorporate discussions, peer reviews, and real-world examples to make the lessons engaging and relevant.
