About Sricharan

Hey there! I’m Sricharan, a 3rd-year medical student currently on clinical placements with an ingrained passion as an academic 'dream-enabler.' I would like to share a little insight into my journey.

I didn’t come from a selective school or a high-performing cohort. In high school for many years, I was ranked right in the 𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐛 𝟐𝟎𝟎 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 nowhere near the marks I dreamed of — and honestly on the verge of giving up.

But with relentless effort, smart strategy, and a refusal to settle, I turned everything around. Along the way, I discovered the exact systems, habits, and exam techniques that took me from “average” to achieving:

I know what it feels like to struggle. I know what it takes to rise. And I know how to guide students through that same journey. I want to be a part of your success. Before every lesson, I will inquire about what you aim to achieve out of it and therefore create a lesson plan for it :)

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring

I believe every student can excel with the right guidance, structure, and mindset. My lessons are tailored to each student's strengths, weaknesses, and goals, whether they're aiming to improve their confidence, achieve a Band 6, or maximize their ATAR.

Teaching Methodology

Personalized lessons designed around each student's learning style and school curriculum
Focus on building a strong conceptual understanding before progressing to advanced exam-style questions
Emphasis on effective study techniques, exam strategy, and common mistakes to maximize marks
Regular practice with past HSC questions and targeted feedback to ensure continuous improvement

Lesson Structure

Typically 1–2 hour lessons, depending on the student's needs and year level
Lessons include theory revision, worked examples, guided practice, and exam-style questions
Students receive tailored resources, notes, and homework where appropriate

HSC students studying Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics Advanced, Extension 1, Extension 2, and English Advanced
Students of all ability levels, from those seeking extra support to high achievers aiming for top ATAR results and selective scholarships.
