About Zanelee
Humor is a big part of my personality, and I enjoy working with people and easing tension wherever I can (easygoing). I thoroughly enjoy writing in my free time and passing on my passions for robust vocabularies (especially when it comes to unique sounding words). I have spent time abroad (in the states including New York, Colorado, Texas and Minneapolis) which enhanced my English Language proficiency a great deal and sparked my passion for conversing in the Language! I've come to chase after the feeling of helping facilitated a learners' "aha" moments. I treasure helping learners excel in subjects they used to struggle with and maybe even despised because of it. I am an excellent communicator, and I enjoy solving problems. I am more on the artistic side, so I enjoy playing acoustic guitar (14 years now), drawing, journaling and playing piano. I also love dogs a lot!

As an English tutor, I take a personalized and learner-centered approach to every lesson. I believe that language learning is most effective when it is interactive and relevant. I tailor each session to the learners' specific needs—whether that’s grammar support, vocabulary expansion, reading comprehension, writing skills, or conversational fluency. My methodology combines discussion-based learning and practical exercises to help students internalize the language in a natural way. What makes my lessons unique is that I focus not just on academic improvement, but also on building learners' self-expression and critical thinking through English. I am fully proficient in English and Afrikaans, and can teach comfortably in either language, depending on the student's preference or home language background.
